KYW Newsradio 1060 Reporter Cherri Gregg won the Excellence Award for Investigative Reporting in Television/Top 15 Markets on Saturday, August 12th at the National Association of Black Journalists annual convention in New Orleans for a story that aired on CBS 3’s Eyewitness News.
Gregg’s story, “Driving While Black,” which aired on both KYW Newsradio and CBS 3, chronicled the unusually high number of police stops experienced by one Philadelphia man, Dawan Williams.
