The Role

Corporate Advertising is looking for a Social Media Specialist who will work closely with our Director of Content and Social Media as well as our Content and Social Media Consultant, supporting day-to-day management of Lincoln Financial Group’s corporate brand social media channels.

Responsibilities

  • Manage Corporate Marketing’s day-to-day community management social efforts by monitoring conversations on brand social channels (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube and Instagram), responding to positive comments and direct messages, flagging concerns with senior members of the team and following internal protocol for complaints.
  • Collaborate across internal teams including Brand, Law and Communications as well as external agency partners.
  • Manage internal ad-hoc requests for social posts
  • Educate internal stakeholders to ensure that content fits within the overarching social strategy.
  • Write copy, select imagery and collaborate with internal creative services designers to produce, schedule and post social content daily across multiple channels.
  • Leverage the content management system
  • Analyze metrics and contribute to reports
  • Research and report on social media trends, news, viral content, software and platform developments as well as helping to identify industry influencers, brands and accounts to engage with and follow.
  • Execute both digital and in-stadium activations at Lincoln Financial Field
  • Financial services background isn’t required, however a passion to acquire knowledge in this industry is a plus.
  • Carries out duties in compliance with all state and federal regulations and guidelines. Complies with all company and site policies and procedures.
  • Makes a positive contribution as demonstrated by: – Making suggestions for improvement – Learning new skills, procedures and processes
  • Performs other duties as required.
  • Remains current in profession and industry trends.

Education

  • 4 Year/Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor’s) – Minimum Required

 Experience

  • 1 – 3+ Years experience in social media marketing directly related to the specific responsibilities of this role.
