The role will be primarily focused on:

  • Giving people the opportunity to live a more fulfilling life by improving health and health conversations
  • Social strategy, content and channel planning for brands on owned properties (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, Sermo, Doximity, and Skipta etc.)
  • A focus on branded social performance and KPIs in context of overall business goals
  • Activities that encourage the connection of people to brands in meaningful ways
  • Accelerating the success of the social strategy through collaboration with the client and MRM colleagues
  • Use of health/pharma experience and understanding of regulatory environment within social to conduct social audits, listening exercises, competitive analysis, and opportunity identification
  • Define KPIs and implement measurement, analytics and reporting methods to gauge success

Key tasks:

  • Client-facing thought leadership
  • Education of internal and external stakeholders on healthcare related consumer behavior within social
  • Serve as a social media subject matter expert for Healthcare, Pharma, Biotech and Medical Device work
  • Interface with media agency and guide paid social strategy and investment goals
  • Social media landscape audits that assess relevant brand conversations
  • Use of tools like Crimson Hexagon, Brandwatch, Unmetric and others to mine social media
  • Reporting and collaboration on social intelligence and social listening data
  • Collaboration with Creative to build breakthrough campaign work that accelerates social performance
  • Insight development and future planning of paid tactics rooted in data


  • 4-5 years of social experience, actively developing social strategy and paid media plans
  • Some experience with Healthcare and Pharma clients
  • Excellent communication skills within the spoken and written word
  • Savvy presenter that can read a room and keep them engaged
  • Coach entry level staff and interns
  • Deadline and results driven
  • Can juggle multiple responsibilities effectively
  • Knows how to prioritize
  • Proactive
  • Comfortable advocating on behalf of yourself, your team and your client
  • Independently manage client initiatives and campaigns
  • Management and oversight of campaign reporting
  • Integrates with horizontal teams (Account, Creative, Performance, Media, Tech)
  • Ability to make strategic recommendations, draft presentation decks, assist in new business presentations
