PUBLIC RELATIONS SENIOR ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE- TECH FOCUSED 

Location: Great Philadelphia Area

Manage the strategic aspects of one to two accounts and closely oversee day-to-day program execution while personally contributing program deliverables and outcomes.

  • Must have technology experience in-house at a brand or working on client at an agency
  • Minimum of 5 years of PR experience overall and minimum of 2 years managing a team
  • Advanced understanding of marketing, sales and business theory
  • Insightful targeting of media, bloggers and analysts fueled by personal relationships and history with those that cover technology topics
  • Proven ability and enthusiasm to personally secure coverage with writers and bloggers writing for top tier business, industry and/or consumer publications dealing with technology topics
  • Expert writer of press releases, articles, case studies, blog posts and compelling pitches with no less than four years writing on technology and/or innovation topics
  • Ability to recognize great writing for technology audiences and elicit that through careful management and editing of senior technology writers and specialized freelance writers
  • Driver of strategic and tactical enhancements of social media and social community engagement
  • Driver of strategic and tactical enhancements of content marketing and search marketing activities
  • Proven successful management of the people and processes required to deliver measurable PR results for a client
  • Identify team deficiencies early and recommend remediation or changes in team personnel as required
  • Ability to serve as a valued strategic advisor to your client contacts
  • Experience managing event marketing such as industry conferences/shows, securing speaking engagements, sponsored events and webinars
  • Background in measurement of the program against objectives as prescribed in the strategic communications plan and in support of lead generation and sales objectives
  • Ability to lead the development of strategic communications plans and budgets for your clients
