Digital Sales Manager, NBC Philadelphia (35542BR)

The Digital Sales Manager will be responsible for working with the NBC10 sales staff, station management, and the NBC Owned Stations corporate digital team, to sell and execute successful digital advertising campaigns.


  • Grow station digital ad sales revenue, exceed revenue goals by developing customized campaigns for clients, make calls with the sales staff to sell campaigns
    • Increase the number of large station clients buying digital products/programs
    • 6-8 client/agency meetings per week
    • Train Account Managers to sell/position digital products alongside our “traditional” media assets
    • Work closely with the Digital Content Manager to develop sponsored content packages
    • Develop/sell customized multiplatform ad packages for business verticals: health, auto QSR, and retail
    • Stay current on third party research: Comscore, Nielsen Net Ratings, etc.
    • Interpret and present market research/data to sales staff/clients
    • Day-to-day management of digital advertising sales for the station (forecast management & sales analysis)
    • Effectively communicate with internal teams and external clients on performance and delivery of commitments
    • Expand sales to existing clients, identify prospects, qualify opportunities, follow up on leads
    • Work directly with clients/sales team to provide client service and execute integrated marketing plans
    • Prepare proposals based on customer requests


  • 4 years digital media sales experience
    • Advanced Microsoft Office
    • Experience with Internet technologies (HTML, Flash, JavaScript)
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
    • Strong focus on teamwork; self-starter
    • Attention to detail; desire to exceed client expectations
    • BA/BS or equivalent
