Sales Lead

Eastern Standard is one of the fastest growing companies in the Greater Philadelphia area — and we are hiring a seasoned business development professional to round out our expanding team. The Sales Lead will be responsible for creating and implementing new sales strategies to supplement our marketing and business development efforts, finding new opportunities, and working with our leadership team and Producers to identify and close new web and branding projects and service-based client relationships.

The Role:
You’ll contribute to the growth of the company and play an integral role in how we present ourselves to new and existing clients, including:

  • Research new accounts, identify key stakeholders, and generate interest
  • Create new sales opportunities through outbound messaging, inbound requests, networking events, industry events, and social platforms
  • Work with our marketing and business development team to generate new leads and opportunities and identify needed support
  • Look for new opportunities to increase the scope of our work with current clients
  • Identify potential partner companies in similar industries to establish a referral program
  • Report on sales goals to our leadership team
  • Work with our existing team to respond to incoming requests and RFPs
  • Consistently meet or exceed sales goals
  • Communicate our service offerings to prospective clients

What You Bring to the Table:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in a similar agency environment
  • Must be able to speak at a high level to branding, design, and web-based projects
  • “Can do” attitude, client-focused mindset, and strong leadership skills
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, writing, and presentation skills
  • Know how to build rapport quickly with new clients with the goal of establishing long-term relationships
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced and sometimes high-pressure environment, while being adaptable to change
  • Working knowledge of branding and website design and development, including graphic and print design, content strategy, and maintenance and support
  • Experience in responding to RFPs, pitching, and drafting proposals
  • Experience using a CRM
