Account Management Internship
- Intern - Creative
Account Management internships are available for Spring 2018 at the Karma Agency to support our marketing/advertising teams.
If you’re looking for a wide variety of hands-on client experience and an opportunity to be part of a dynamic team, consider a Karma internship. Karma has a diverse portfolio spanning education, manufacturing, lifestyle marketing, arts and culture, destination marketing and financial services. We ask our interns to take on meaningful client responsibilities, which often include brand/category research, project management, presentation and creative brief writing, and project planning. Therefore, we expect a lot in return. If you identify with the following philosophies, this might just be the place for you.
Curiosity [never] killed the cat. Curious, you have an insatiable hunger to learn and understand. Generous, you love sharing your own knowledge, thoughts and ideas (homemade cookies welcome, too). Open minds wanted.
No man left behind: You’re a real team player, bringing enthusiasm and commitment to your work everyday, no matter the task. Humility and a good sense of humor are also recommended.
‘To be or not to be’: The language of Shakespeare has no secrets for you. You are a superb communicator, both in written and spoken form. That goes without saying.
Perfection does exist: You have a compulsive tendency to double-check everything. That’s fine. In our world, we call that “being detail-oriented,” and we joyfully embrace it.
Procrastination is the thief of time: You don’t know what “procrastination” means simply because you are the master of organization—someone who gets things done.
“Once you stop learning, you start dying”: You welcome constructive feedback because you believe in not making the same mistake twice. Growth is the reason you’re taking on this experience.
You don’t twiddle your thumbs: Passionate for this work, you take initiative on projects small and large. You welcome responsibility and are comfortable taking the lead.
The fine print:
The spring positions are paid and typically run from January until May. Full time availability preferred, minimum of 3 days a week required.
